Paul is an Accredited Mental Health Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience supporting individuals and families across the mental health sector. As an Army Veteran himself, Paul brings deep understanding and empathy to his work with current and former defence force service members. He is also an approved Medicare, DVA and WorkCover Queensland provider, offering accessible and evidence‑based care. Known for his easy‑going, down‑to‑earth approach, Paul creates a safe, non‑judgmental space where clients can openly explore their concerns and work toward meaningful change. Outside of practice, Paul is a devoted family man, avid aviator and is married with four adult children and six grandchildren, who keep life full and grounded.

Katie moved to Rockhampton to begin her studies at Central Queensland University, graduating in 2007. She is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and an approved Medicare, WorkCover Queensland provider, offering evidence‑based support to individuals, couples, and families. Over the past 19 years, Katie has worked across government and non‑government mental health services, gaining extensive experience in a wide range of clinical settings. She also spent seven years in the alcohol and other drug sector, where she developed specialist skills in both harm‑minimisation and abstinence‑based approaches. These diverse professional foundations allow Katie to tailor her work to each person’s needs, goals, and circumstances. Katie supports clients with individual counselling, relationship and family challenges, and a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. Her practice is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and a strong belief in people’s capacity for change. Outside of work, Katie is married and the proud mum of two teenage boys, who keep life full and lively.

Sandra Gibson

Sandra started out in the caring profession with a Bachelor of Nursing in 1995 and has enjoyed the personal interaction. The need for mental health support was seen while working as a nurse and has been her drive for building knowledge in that area. Studying part-time she graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) in 2022, and in 2024 graduated with a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours). Sandra is currently completing a Master of Counselling, which is where her heart lies. Spare time is spent with her husband, four adult children and their families. Living in Alton Downs has been the perfect environment to enjoy spending time with animals which she loves. Sandra is a new member of the RCS team, starting in May of 2026 and looking forward to supporting individuals and couples navigate life challenges, and assisting with developing goals and direction.
